Callan JMB signs $28M TRUKING equipment order for its Atlas Complex pharma plant in Marion, Alabama, targeting US pharmaceutical production by end of 2027.

Callan JMB Inc. (NASDAQ: CJMB) has signed an initial purchase order worth approximately USD 28 million for pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment from TRUKING, with the equipment destined for the company's Atlas Complex in Marion, Alabama.
The Spring Branch, Texas-based preparedness, logistics, and critical infrastructure company announced the procurement on October 8, 2026, and expects to make a USD 500,000 down payment on the order.
TRUKING, an international supplier of pharmaceutical equipment and integrated manufacturing solutions, will fabricate the equipment at its facilities in China before shipping it to Alabama, where Callan JMB will handle assembly and installation.
Equipment specifications are currently being developed at the Atlas Complex facility. Once operational, pharmaceutical production at the site is intended to expand domestic manufacturing capacity in the United States.
Beyond the Atlas deployment, the collaboration names Callan JMB as a North American distributor and assembly provider for TRUKING equipment.
That role covers equipment distribution and assembly for additional planned pharmaceutical manufacturing sites as well as other commercial customers, broadening the company's commercial participation in the infrastructure supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing.
To carry out this work, Callan JMB plans to establish a dedicated assembly team supporting the Atlas Complex installation and later deployments. Company teams are expected to take part in pre-shipment testing and qualification activities and to support installation, qualification, and validation at Atlas ahead of manufacturing operations.
The initial equipment deployment is being coordinated with the development of the Marion 9 manufacturing facility, a planned 90,000-square-foot building at the Atlas Complex intended to support U.S. production of pharmaceutical products affected by critical supply shortages.
Equipment fabrication and facility construction are expected to proceed in parallel.
Management currently anticipates roughly nine months for equipment fabrication and six to nine months for facility construction. Initial production is targeted before the end of 2027, contingent on completion of construction, equipment delivery and installation, commissioning, validation, and applicable regulatory requirements.
The initiative draws on Callan JMB's longstanding emergency-preparedness and response work, connecting planned domestic pharmaceutical production with the company's existing logistics, regulatory compliance, specialty packaging, warehousing, monitoring, and distribution capabilities used to protect and deliver critical supplies.
Combining these functions at the Atlas Complex is intended to support continuity of supply both during routine operations and during periods of heightened demand or disruption.
Wayne Williams, Chief Executive Officer of Callan JMB, said the company's preparedness and response work has always depended on knowing how to source critical products, protect their integrity, and get them where they are needed.
He noted that developing pharmaceutical manufacturing at the Atlas Complex extends that experience further into the supply chain and that connecting U.S. production with the company's logistics and distribution capabilities aims to strengthen the availability of essential products before an emergency and support resupply when demand increases.
Williams added that the role with TRUKING also creates an opportunity to support additional manufacturing projects and commercial customers.
The planned production model pairs active pharmaceutical ingredients expected to be supplied by Walker's Pharmaceuticals with fill-finish capabilities at the Atlas Complex.
Callan JMB's supporting services are designed to connect those manufacturing activities with the storage, packaging, handling, and distribution needed to deliver finished products to healthcare and commercial customers.
The Atlas Complex by Callan JMB is a pharmaceutical, medical, and logistics campus in Marion, Alabama.
It is designed to support U.S. pharmaceutical onshoring and strengthen domestic supply chains, offering scalable infrastructure for pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality assurance and quality control, research collaboration, workforce development, cold chain logistics, and distribution.
Callan JMB Inc. provides fulfillment, warehousing, cold-chain logistics, monitoring, regulatory compliance, specialty packaging, and emergency-preparedness and response services to healthcare organizations, government agencies, and commercial partners.
Through its portfolio of businesses, strategic partnerships, and acquisitions, the company is building a broader platform spanning healthcare and pharmaceutical logistics, domestic manufacturing, transformer and critical electrical-equipment manufacturing, critical-infrastructure services, and energy development.
